ELLIS, RAMSAY, SIMPSON posted by Betty Rodgers on Wednesday, November 12, 1997

Hello: I would be pleased to forward the following papers to anyone that can claim kinship: The original marriage license for: Edgar W. ELLIS and Agnes SIMPSON, who were married in Saginaw in 1927. I also have the original military discharge papers for Edgar W. ELLIS from the US. Marine Corps. These papers were found in the estate papers of our aunt in Lutz, Florida. I don't know any family connection but as she had a large two story house, they might have been boarders or personal friends of our aunt, Melvina Ramp RAMSAY. Anyone giving minimal connecting info can claim by mail.

KANZIG posted by Jim & Karla Stanton on Wednesday, November 12, 1997

KANZIG, Charles. The information I have is from his death certificate. He was born in Saginaw Michigan on February 18, 1892. His parents names are Charles Kanzig, and Marie Laske (Larhe, Lashe, something like that) from Switzerland. I have contacted the State of Michigan, but have been unable to obtain a birth certificate. The only other info I have is he had three older sisters, Jule, Clare, and Gladys. I do not know their ages, or if they were born in Michigan or not.

GRANT posted by Bud Grant (Charles Loring Grant IV) on Sunday, November 30, 1997

My great grandfather, CHARLES LORING GRANT I lived in Saginaw. He had four children, CHARLES LORING GRANT II (my grandfather) born in 1880, Maude, George, and Grace, all born in Saginaw. I have been trying to find out about his parents. I believe his father was CHARLES WESLEY GRANT who came to Michigan from New York in 1839. I have information on the parents of CHARLES WESLEY GRANT but have been unable to come up with anything about his children or wife or if CHARLES LORING GRANT I was one of his children. CHARLES WESLEY GRANT was a lumberman and a township supervisor. Thanks for any information you are able to provide. Bud Grant (Charles Loring Grant IV)
