CHAMBERLIN, ERSKINE posted by Cary on Saturday, July 18, 1998

A microfilm copy of the "Evening Press" Monday, Aug 27, 1883 states that "Mrs. CHAMBERLIN, of this city, died at the residence of her son in Hemlock City, Saturday." Because Joseph and Elizabeth had only one son, Elizabeth must have died at the home of Hersa and Maria ERSKINE.

I am looking for any information on William and Delena Dupraw. They lived in were married in Kotchville Township in 1879. William's parents were Caroline Groesbick and Joseph Groesbick. Delena's father's name was Maxim Gagnon pronounced Gonya. I have birth, death, marriage, history dates etc. on practically every Dupraw that lived in the Saginaw Valley in mid to late 1800's but I cannot connect William with any of them. I am trying to find out if he had any brothers or sisters. He was born in Detroit. William and Delena had 5 children: Clarence, Albert, Florence, a daughter that I cannot name yet and a son that died at age 14. William was hit and killed by an interurban (trolley car) in Saginaw in 1924. Leaving my grandmother, Florence an orphan. If you have any information on this family please contact me or if you are researching any Dupraws maybe I can help you.

CLUM-CLEM, MANNING, RUSSEL, STOWELL, WALTERS, WARNER posted by Michelle Warner- Powell on Friday, July 31, 1998

Mary Elizabeth WARNER m John RUSSEL abt 1868 at Brady, Saginaw Co after her husband died while serving in the Civil War. In the 1870 Saginaw Co census her two youngest daughters, Lizzie and Emma, are listed as living with her and John. The next two familys that are listed in the census are WALTERS and STOWELL. I'm quite sure that Lizzie and Emma married son's from these two families. Mary's son Andrew Jackson WARNER m Laura McCLEM/CLUM in 1881, their marriage records show that she was from Saginaw Co. Mary's other daughter m ? MANNING and I have been unable to locate her or her spouse anywhere. If you have any info on these families, please contact me! I have much info to share also! Thanks!

ASHTON, TOMAN posted by Colleen Stokes on Friday, July 31, 1998

In October of 1919, a Milton Ashton died in Saginaw (not sure if city or county only). His death was listed in a newspaper in Isabella county where he was laid to rest. Can someone please check the death records for Saginaw county and look him up for me. I need to know who his parents are and any information that may have been stated. I have no idea who he was living with since his wife had previously died in Isabella county. There is a remote chance he may be with other Ashtons or a Mary L. Toman, (poss. sister). Could the index be checked for her too? She would have died after 1920.
