The following records are of the Civil War Veterans of Highland Township, Oakland County, Michigan.  They contain the veteran's name, year born and died, burial place, enlistment date, discharge date and the unit that each served in during the Civil War, plus extra notes. 

In the burial place column you will find two different codes for the cemeteries the veterans are buried in.  HC=Highland Cemetery which is online.  WHC=West Highland Cemetery which is being configured to go online next in this series.  We expect to have this transcription online in the next week to ten days.
