This 27 page booklet was written by Gerald Dwight Childs Sr. detailing the construction of Mt. Pleasant's 5 story "skyscraper" in 1914. The book contains articles from the local paper telling of the construction and shows street scenes of Mt. Pleasant. It also gives family history information on C. W. Campbell known in Mt. Pleasant as Colonel Campbell who had the building constructed.

Price for this book is $7.00 with 3.00 for shipping and handling.

            

Isabella county Families and History 2003 was a project of the Isabella County Genealogical Society. The book is 168 pages and includes histories of local churches and businesses as well as many family histories submitted along with pictures. A time line of Isabella county history from 1850 to 2000 is included highlighting significant events.

Price is $35.00 plus $6.00 for shipping and handling.
