E. Boulton, James Gage, Andrew Walmsley, P .R. Weydemeyer, Amos Bradshaw. There were five whole and one fractional districts, and six school-houses, one having been burned in September, 1881. Number of children of school age, 439; number that attended school during the year, 373. The schools of Cass City occupy two buildings, and are under the superintendence of Professor Beach. They are in a prosperous condition, and are keeping pace with the progress of the village. Up to the present time they have remained under district organization. dz
