MRS. ASA PERRY. Saginaw News Friday, 7 June, 1940 Mrs. Asa PERRY , 57, died Thursday at her home, 2021 North Oakley, after a lingering illness. Nina KNIGHT was born Sept 30, 1882 in Dayton Township, Tuscola county. She was married to Mr. Perry Jan 1, 1898, at Bethel, Tuscola, County. They came to Saginaw in 1903. Mrs. Perry was a member of Ames Methodist Church and its Ladies Aid Society. She leaves her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Charles LAVALLEY of AuTrain, Mrs, Frank CARDINAL of Carrollton and Mrs William DIETRICH of Buena Vista; five sons Raymond, Byron, Glenn and Loran Perry of Saginaw and Richard PERRY of AuTrain; three sisters, Mrs Ina RAYMOND of Caro, and Mrs Edward BENNETT and Mrs. Walter FALKENHAGEN of Saginaw; two brothers, Arthur KNIGHT of Kingston and Alvin KNIGHT of Ferndale, 26 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home. Rev George H. CURTS will officiate and burial will be in Forest Lawn. Friends may see Mrs. PERRY at the Case Chapel Friday evening and until 10 a.m. Saturday. Saginaw WBA Review will conduct a service at the home at 1:30 a.m.Saturday. |
