Riverside Cemetery, Vassar, Tuscola County, Michigan, Burial Book records.

Information in this list:  Name, d. date, sex/ color/ marriage, age, d. place, b. place, b. date, occupation, parents and comments, section / lot, nm if no marker present. Not all information given in every record.  Cause of death is given here for deaths occurring prior to 1870 or ‘unusual’ cause of death in later records. Riverside cemetery has the best burial records in the county.  This is the order in the burial book except that in this list the name is given first for alphabetizing.  There was an older cemetery in Vassar village that was removed to this location and those notations are included. There was also a Woodcock cemetery on the Woodcock farm which is part of Riverside cemetery.  Use this with the list of burials on interment.net which is the list of grave markers.  There are many deaths recorded here for which there are no grave markers. The burial and grave lists are separate due to the size of the file. This record is not complete due to size. Additional records will be done later.
