Owen Cemetery
Established in the 1800's on about 5 1/2 acres on North River Road which is a one road access to the cemetery. The cemetery is owned by the township and burial records are held by the township clerk.

  • A small pioneer cemetery is found on the west bank of the Tittabawassee River were the south line of Section 30 crosses the river. The parents of Mr. William Blower are buried there in a clump of lilac bushes. This area was visible from the Shields School yard.

This information compiled about the cemeteries of Saginaw County was taken from a number of resources by the previous county coordinators. Some of this information was compiled by the individual township supervisors of the county in the late 1960's and provided to us by Patrick Bohinski.
