Early Saginaw County Marriages

Transcribed from:
Records for the county of Saginaw, Michigan Territory, 1835-1864 - Saginaw County Clerk

These early Saginaw County marriages were found in the first book of the county clerk which is on film. Some pages are faded and hard to read, spelling was sounded out in parts of the records and is interesting to see.  The marriages in this book only go to 1847, although it is titled to include up to 1864.  There are 100 records in this set of Saginaw vitals.

The records include areas such as Tuscola, Bay, Gratiot, Oakland, and Genesee Counties which were part of Saginaw County at the time.
