  • Blumfield - Listed as having a PO in 1860 – Township was organized in 1853
  • Blumfield Corners – Located in Blumfield Township 
  • Blumfield Junction – Located also in Blumfield Township
  • FRANKENTROST – Listed as a post village in 1860.  Was a Lutheran community in 1847 with a mission.
  • Arthurs - This place is on the 1884 Railroad map of the county.  No other information found. 
  • Manning - No further information - found on a current map in this township.
  • Kulmbach (Kulmback on present map)  - Settlement in Blumfield township with a railroad station and post office in 1891.  
  • Trostville - Name of Frankentrost from until ??

Carolyn's Saginaw Images Site

Book 5 - West Side Cemetery, Freeland; St. Johannis, Frankentrost; Bethlehem Lutheran; Richland Twp.

Eastlawn Cemetery 
Established in 1961 and is located on section 30 at 7475 Holland Road. The cemetery is owned by KAL Management, Inc. and the records are held at the cemetery address. This is a large, 38 acre cemetery.

Blumfield Township Cemetery 
Located on the west side of S. Beyer Road, 3/4 mile south on M-46 on section 32.  See 1877 Plat Map for location, there is a cemetery in section 33 unsure if this is Blumfield or Frankentrost below.  Contact township for burial records. 

Frankentrost Cemetery 
Listed in the 1877 Atlas of Saginaw County as a small cemetery at the corner of Holland and Mueller Roads, on the Immanuel Lutheran Church Property. It is reported that a number of unmarked burials are at this site. See 1877 Plat Map for location, there is a cemetery in section 33 unsure if this is Blumfield above. This cemetery is not listed in the 1991 edition of the Michigan Cemetery Atlas.

St. Elizabeth Cemetery 
Located at the site of the first St. Elizabeth church. It is located on the SW corner of Section 13 on North Block Road. The cemetery was established in 1870 and is owned by St. Elizabeth Church in Reese. The records are held by the church which is located actually located in Tuscola County rather than Saginaw County.  See 1877 Plat Map for approximate location.

Trinity Lutheran Cemetery 
Located on Section 13 on the south side of Wadsworth Road just west of Reese. The records for this cemetery are held at the Trinity Lutheran Church office. See 1877 Plat Map for approximate location.

Bradley Rd. Family Cemetery
 at Carolyn's Saginaw Photos Site 
There is a small cemetery on the north side of Bradley Road, about 1/2 mile east of North Beyer Road where several of the members of the Eisenhauer family are buried.

*There are also reportedly a few burials in Section 32 west of Meuller Road and south of the C & O Rail Road.

This information compiled about the cemeteries of Saginaw County was taken from a number of resources by the previous county coordinators. Some of this information was compiled by the individual township supervisors of the county in the late 1960's and provided to us by Patrick Bohinski.
