Any info on LUIS SPEAS who died 21 Feb 1906 in Gould City at
home of his daughter, HENRIETTA MCPHERSON and her husband, CHARLES MCPHERSON. Henrietta
died June 16, 1932 at home. What happened to her husband? Did he remarry? Did Charles and
Henrietta have any children? LUIS SPEAS was enumerated in the 1900 Census, Portage Twp.,
Mackinac Co. in the home of JOHN FAUCETT as a boarder, age 74, widowed. All replies

intermarried with Ojibwe Indians in Cass Co and the Duluth area..
I am looking for information on John GILCHRIST one of the
first settlers to the area. I understand the town of GILCHRIST, Mackinac County was named
after John. I am also looking for Neil GILCHRIST b. abt 1846 in Canada West who lived in
the town of Bay Mills, Mackinac County about 1881. Any assistance or direction would be
