Remarks: This township contains excellent soil for agricultural purposes; running brooks, and streamlets, have springs of water; and a variety of timber such as beech, maple, black walnut, hickory, etc.  The Tittibawassee River flow through it and is nabigable to Saginaw for small craft affording an easy outlet to market.
