Charles Southwick commenced a three months term of school in Isabella township last Monday.

We regret to learn that Mrs. Wm. Lethorne is quite ill.

M. Lower came very near losing his barn by fire a few days since.  The origin of the fire could not be accounted for.

We have just learned that M. Kennedy is seriously ill.

Mrs. Dibble, of Nottawa, has been visiting Mrs. Bamborough.

Mis Lillie Brodie is again taking painting lessons of Mrs. A. N. Brown.

Miss Annie Deihl will teach the Gulic school, commencing next Monday
