Draft Replacements Leave for Training

Seven replacements for draft call number four, left Mt. Pleasant Monday, March 17, 1941
for Detroit to being army training.  The boys are: Ralph Geasler, Lake; Kenneth Bell,
Shepherd James Forbes, Weidman; Harold Rau, Rosebush; James Connors, Mt. Pleasant,
   the leader of the group; Robert Gould, Mt. Pleasant; and Cecil Marshall, R-2,
Mt. Pleasant.

The largest call yet is scheduled to leave April 1.  There will be 41 men from Isabella, mostly
draftees, the ranks of the volunteers having been depleted.
