Pine Grove Cemetery
Deeded April 23, 1873.
Also known as Lone Pine and  Brown Cemetery.
Established 1863.

    This cemetery sits up on a slope.  There are very few gravestone markers.  The headstones were read
    and transcribed on November 4, 1999.  The Rows start from the east side of the cemetery.
 

              Row 1

             Large stone with the following inscription:

                Isaac Morey
                born June 23 1801
                died June 19, 1873

                Phoebe Morey
                born 1811
                died Apr 22 1890
 

              Row 2

           One small stone in front of and to the south of the Morey stone.
                 The top of the stone is inscribed with MAUDE.
 

               Row 3

           Large obelisk stone with the following inscription:

                 Julia Deming
                 wife of
                 Perry Guthrie

                 born Aug 26 1841 (?)
                 died June 8 1903

                 There is a flat stone laid up against the back of the large Deming stone reading:

                 Lucinda
                 unreadable portion
                 L. M. Deming
                 died May 10, 187(?)
 

                  Small stone
                  Mother inscribed on the top of the stone
                  Rhoda Elizabeth inscribed on the front of the stone

                  Large obelisk stone with the following inscription:

                  Ida C.
                  Wife of
                  L. P. Deming
                  departed this life
                  Sept 1 1882
                  aged
                  32 yrs. 11 ms.

                  Deming inscribed on the base of the monument.

                  The top portion of the stone is unreadable due to deterioration and lichen overgrowth.
                  The bottom portion reads:
