WEIDMAN GIRLS WHO HAVE MADE GOOD

                                                 (transcribed by: L. Johnson)

Lucille Wiley was born in Saginaw December 9, 1909.  The first two years of her school

life were spent in Weidman, when the family moved to Pontiac.  She graduated from the

Pontiac Senior High School in June, 1927.

She received instruction in voice culture many years in Pontiac, and graduated from a

Conservatory in that city.

She has sung in the First Baptist Church of Pontiac, and her voice is familiar to many

patrons of WJR.

Miss Lucille is at present in New York, where she hopes to continue her vocal studies.

Weidman folks are always interested in their boys and girls who take respected places

in the world’s work and we are all watching Miss Lucille’s career with much interest.  We

shall hope to see her name high in the list of musical celebrities some day.
