ROSES FOR THE LIVING

                                                         Guy J. Anderson

The young and handsome gentleman whose picture you see above was born in Sedgwick,

Kansas, thirty-six years ago.  Mr. Anderson was graduated from high school in his native

City and attended Business College at Wichita, Kansas.  At an early age he went to work

in the oil and gas fields of Oklahoma.

For the past nine years he has been employed by the Pure Oil Company.  For some time

he had charge of their gas production in Broomfield Gas Field, and for the past three years

has been superintendent of their Sherman Oil Field.

Guy or “Buck” as he is known to his many friends, both in and out of the oil fraternity,

is a familiar figure on the streets of Weidman, and Weidman folks are glad to know him

and count “Buck” as their friend.

Always friendly and courteous, he leaves you with the feeling that you are glad to know

him.  We are happy, “Buck”, to number you in our “Roses for the Living”, and we are glad

you are no more a “Sunflower” of Kansas, but a “Wolverine” of Michigan, and to tell you

that you have the keen respect of this community.
