ROSES FOR THE LIVING

                                                                Frank Fox

The gentleman whose picture is shown above is so well known that it hardly seems

Necessary to tell you that it is Frank Fox.

Frank was born in Germany on August 1st, 1882.  When he was 7 years old his father

came to America and very soon thereafter sent for his family, Frank and his mother, one other

brother and two sisters.  They settled near Saginaw and about 5 years later moved to a farm

in Nottawa township, near the Nicholas Pohl place.

On Oct. 22, 1907, Frank was married to Frances Pasch (a sister of Mike and Andrew).

In 1912 they moved tot he place which they now own.

Frank is well and favorably known to a multitude of people.  He has held many public

offices in his township, always doing his work in an efficient and conscientious manner.

Besides being a good farmer Frank is an excellent carpenter and contractor.  He has erect-

ed a great many buildings in this and other counties in the state.

At present he is supervising the construction of our new W. P. A. school building and he

is doing a fine job at it.  When completed this building will be one of the finest in the state.

The original estimate of costs of this school building has been held above the actual

Outlay so far.  The building will be completed in the spring.

To Frank go our best wishes for a bright and happy future and our kindest thanks for the

Efforts he has put forth for the welfare of our community.
