Eighth Grade Graduates

                There were 238 pupils of Isabella county who successfully passed
                   the recent eighth grade examinations.

                   The following from the townships of Coe, Lincoln, Fremont and
                   Chippewa were among the successful contestants:

Plans for Field Day Completed - A Large Attendance Expected

                            The preparations for the Isabella County Annual Field Day and
                      Play Festival to be held here Saturday June 5 are practically
                      complete.
                      The program was announced in full in last weeks TIMES.  The gold and
                      silver badges to be awarded are on display in Russell and Foland's
                      window.
                      The Eighth grade commencement will be held at 10 a.m. at the opera
                      house.  The graduates this year number 238 and are as follows:
