ROSES FOR THE LIVING

                                                         Edmond Schultz

                                                 (transcribed by: L. Johnson)

We take pleasure this week in presenting to the readers of The Messenger the likeness of

Edmund Schultz and grandson, Clifton.  Edmund is a native, having been born in Coldwater

township fifty years ago.  He has always lived in this locality.

For some time he operated a large farm in Coldwater township.  Some years ago he sold

this farm and engaged in selling automobiles very successfully.  About three years ago he

decided that Weidman was a good place to continue to live in, and built a fine home.

Edmund has many friends.  He is a gentleman that is nice to know.  His reputation for fair

and honest dealings has made him a clientele that few automobile salesmen enjoy.

He was married to Inez Forbes 34 years ago.  They have three children, two boys and a

girl.

We believe we speak for every person in this community when we say that we are happy

To number Edmund among our neighbors—and as our friend.
