Thaddeus Bywater Family - 1917

Front Row: Gerald and Ercel Bywater, children of Tom and Celia, Lois and Myra Rodgers, Thaddeus, son of Thos, and Julie Bywater, was born in New York in 1851 and moved to Ionia Co. sometime before 1870.  He married Sarah Griffin in 1878 in Lake Odessa.  Together they had seven children: Ruth A., Frederick who died at the age of one, Thomas, Mary, William, Paul and Howard.  They moved to Sherman City in 1902 and lived on the west side of Allen Road, across the road from the present home of Greg Assved.
