James. H. Lake

James H. Lake was born in the state of New York, on the 24th day of March, 1846, and died in Sherman City, Mich. on
the 25th day of February, 1912.  During the civil war he enlisted as a private in company A., 1st regiment, Michigan volunteers, light artillery.  He had an honorable discharge, but it could not be found at the time of his death.  The funeral will be held in the Union church on the 27th and his body will be laid to rest in the Sherman City cemetery.
