Fourth Draft Call Issued; 34 to Leave Here March 5^th

Now Expected That Contingent Will Include County’s First Draftees

   Isabella county’s fourth draft call was received by the Isabella Draft board yesterday.  A group of 34 will eave here at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, to be inducted at Saginaw.  Expectations are that this call will include the county’s first draftees, and 20 notices of induction were sent to registrants yesterday.

 

   First on the list among the eligibles are: Welcome Lafayette Talbot, 23, 116 North Kinney; Earl Flannery, 21, 415 South Arnold; Auddie Beverlin, 26, 315 Oak; Edward Archey, 21, 1013 East high; Walter Fussman, 22, R-1, Mt. Pleasant; Charles Kahgegabe, 21, R-4, Mt. Pleasant; Frederick Spencer, 33, R-2, Lake; David Russell, 21, Weidman; Leo Horseman, 30, Clare; Donald Bryant, 22, R-3, Clare; Joseph Kornexl, 25, Sheperd; Russell Lawler, 25, R-1, Rosebush; Ralph Geasler, 28, R-2, Lake; Robert McFarlane, 21, R-1, Rosebush; Frank Jacobs, 22, R-1, Rosebush; Darrel McMillen, 28, R-1, Farwell; John Williams, 36, R-1, Riverdale; Ronald McArthur, 25, R-1, Blanchard; Theodore Lesky, 26, Blanchard and Carl Norman, 28, R-2, Remus.

 

   All of these men were sent induction notices and will be in the draft unless additional volunteers present themselves at board headquarters before the quota is made up.
