QRYTEXT: Seeking information on the CUMMINGS families that settled in Clement Township 1. NORRIS RAYNAURD CUMMINGS married to Cecil Dafney BURGESS 2. J D CUMMINGS, wife name and children. J D brother of NORRIS CUMMINGS who died in Clement Township and buried in Edwards Cemetery. 5 April 1915 He is buried beside his young son who died about 7 years before him. Norris CUMMINGS died of Stomache Cancer at his home at the young age of 43 years. Leaving to mourn him were: Widow Ceil D. BURGESS and five children. Mary Lorena CUMMINGS, married Ward JONES, Esther Mae CUMMINGS married Floyd GOODRICH in Genesee Cty; Josephine CUMMINGS (named for her gf Joseph CUMMINGS of Genesee cty) married Fred SCHEUMANN, Macomb cty; Morris LeRoy CUMMINGS married Reta V WIGGINS in Marlette, Sanilac, Cty; Norris CUMMINGS (twin of Morris b: 27 Jan 1910) married Elizabeth of CA Norris Raynaurd CUMMINGS bought his property from his brother JD CUMMINGS (both were born in Genesee Cty now known as Clio area) JD CUMMINGS farmed next to Norris until his death of 1915. JD CUMMINGS is said to have had a very large family. Interested in knowing OF JD, wife name,and children. Have CUMMINGS information on David CUMMINGS of NY b: 1798 wives, all 11 children... Joseph's children also Joseph was his 2nd youngest child. NORRIS RAYNARD and JD were sons of JOSPEH CUMMINGS, grandchildren of David of NY state.
