Suuppi being a member of the Ammunition Train before coming to Battery B, was made a member of the Combat Train, performing all of his duties willingly and conscientiously. In build he was short and stocky; well-meaning, and would accommodate the other boys whenever he could. The singularity of his name and its similarity to Mess Call made the boys use it as a sort of slogan for eats, as it suggested something warm and filling. He was always obliging and as good to the rest of the boys as his name sounded.
